Oddity File: Wonder Box home session with Kitise (she finds out she has a spirit attachment) REAL ghost communication

May 22, 2017 in Episodes, Kitsie's Blog

Kitsie was doing an Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC) experiment with the wonder box. She ended up finding out a spirit from a past investigation had attached himself to her. (this was originally recorded just for research purposes, and was never intend to be posted anywhere)

Apps used were the Spiritus App and the Portal Plus app.

Hey guys and girls,

Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve gotten part 2 of season 2 up and running. The real life job got in the way. But weeeeeeeee’re back. And hoping to have a new episode every 3 to 4 weeks for you to finish out season one. Right now you can view our newest episode where we investigate the Guyer Opera House in Lewisville, IN. This place was extremely active, so many personal experiences with just about everyone on the crew. so please head on over to GetScared.TV and see for yourselves.

Also, I was able to sit in on a couple of Paranormal Panels lately at a couple of different Wizard World shows. Ans on Halloween I was able to sit in on one about Ouija Boards with Talking Board expert Robert Murch, Paranormal Pop Culture expert Aaron Sagers, and Michelle Belanger of Paranormal State fame. It was good to hear what I had been thinking for a very long time, using a Talking Board or and Ouija Board is NO DIFFERENT than what we do by using a K2, spirit box, or any other device while trying to communicate with spirits. This is something I have been thinking for a while.

I too had a horrifying experience with and Ouija Board back in the day, but I now know why, it’s because I wasn’t ready to actually communicate at that time, so it was very scary. After the panel the group headed over to another room, and there were enough Ouija Boards for the entire group. So after a bit I sat down and did an Ouija board session with Aaron and Michelle. it was pretty uneventful (as we all know any thing paranormal can be from time to time) but I think I finally got over my fear of this what is in a intents and purposes a game they sell retail outlets. Fortunately I was one of the few who got to take one home, so I am hoping I will be able to talk the crew into trying one at a future investigation.

Head on over to our facebook page and get involved in the Talking Board conversation over there: facebook.com/OddityFiles

Here are some pics from the Ouija Board Panel at Wizard World Comic Con Ohio (yes it was Halloween, and yes that’s why I’m dressed like Sandy from grease):

Very excited about today’s investigation. This is the first time we will be investigating a location the big guns have been to 🙂 I’ve head so many great things about this place too, so I am pretty stoked. Be sure to check out our facebook, twitter and instagram pages for fun pictures and updates.

I just want to say, if you’re reading this, then your watching the shows, and if you’re watching the show, I thank you. This has been so much fun, and I have met so many great people in this field. I learn something new ALL THE TIME, and honestly that is an amazing feeling!! If you like the show, tell your friends about the show. You will not believe how many people I have met that are into the paranormal, that I would have never guessed. So tell you friends and family to come and check us out, and if they like us to tell their friends 🙂

Right now we’re at about an episode a month. and once we have more help we’ll hopefully bump that up to 2 a month. This second season has been such a blast with the new team, I can’t even begin to tell you. And the 3rd season is just going to be bigger and better!!

Last month I was lucky enough to hang with Grant Wilson on one of his Ghost Walks with Wizard World. Here are a few fun pictures:

Hello boys and girls and kids of all ages…

January 14, 2014 in Blog, Kitsie's Blog

Long time no blog, I’ve been super busy booking investigations, finding new equipment, reviewing evidence and editing new shows for you all.  I am pretty stoked about the newest episodes and I hope you all are too.  How our system works is we’ll be uploading one new episode a month (as long as I can get them edited that quick)  And the first run shows will be on GetScaredTV exclusively for the first 2 weeks, then they will be added here to the website for those of you with out Roku players.  So we’ve got some great stuff ahead, and I can’t wait to share it with you guys.

This week we’ve got an investigation on Wednesday, and Wednesday is a full moon. To my knowledge this will be our first investigation during a full moon.  I’ve found a little bit online talking about how this should aid in our investigation, and I can’t wait to test it out.  Be sure to follow along on instagram @oddityfiles for fun pictures during the investigation.

This coming Monday 01.20.14 we will be debuting our January episode, and this is a good one.  We visit Panzarotti’s Haunted Hamilton House in Shelbyville, IN.  The evidence was so much we didn’t have time to put it ALL into one episode.  I think you all are really going to like this one.  For booking Panazarotti’s for your own investigation contact them through facebook https://www.facebook.com/panzarottishauntedhamiltonhouse or their website http://panzarottis.com/.  They are some great people.  Watch for the teaser soon.

How would you guys feel about a directory of places we investigate here on the site.  So if you’d like to contact a location, you have it all right here at your fingertips.  Let us know on our facebook page www.Facebook.com/OddityFiles or twitter www.twitter.com/oddityfiles.

Well gang, I’ll try and not be such a stranger from here on out.  You can always follow me on twitter and keep in touch there as well  www.twitter.com/KitsieDuncan I’m kind of an addict 🙂

Make it a great one peeps!

Looking for contact info on a location we want to investigate.

Clayton is desperately wanting to investigate a hospital (with good reason, we haven’t yet)  But he has his mind set on one in particular,

we have no idea of how to get a hold of the owner, so we’re putting the word out.  If anyone knows how to get a hold of the right people

who own the old Beech Grove Hospital outside of Indianapolis we would be forever in your debt.  Well Clayton will be anyway 🙂

Drop a line to Kitsie@ oddityfiles.com thanks in advance for any help you all may be!

Best,

Kitsie

It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year…….

October 23, 2013 in Kitsie's Blog

Of course I’m not talking about Christmas silly, I’m talking about Halloween! I don’t know about you guys, but it is easily my favorite holiday. Unfortunately due to our crazy schedules, there isn’t a whole lot of time for decorating. But today I think I may pull a couple things out of the garage and at least make it feel like the Most wonderful time of the year 🙂

My Introduction

September 27, 2013 in Blog, Kitsie's Blog

Everyone else has been sharing a little about their experiences so far, so I figured it was my turn.  I have learned so much about the paranormal and about myself actually since I started investigating just about a year ago.  I have been told I am more than likely a sensitive, due to the feelings I get at different locations.  I don’t hear or see anything, but it’s more like a gut feeling I get, especially when I walk into a location for the first time.  And even in different areas within a location.  The most profound moment for me was in an old Victorian house.  I sensed as soon as I walked in the door of a particular room, a deep sadness and fear washed over me and actually brought tears to my eyes.  After I explained to the tour guide how I was feeling, she had told me that a medium had a vision in the same spot I was standing of a woman being choked by her husband.  This was actually not the first time one of my feelings had been validated by something others had felt and seen.

I know some of you probably think I’m crazy like my husband Chris.  But I just call it like I feel it.  It’s something I genuinely want to learn more about and possibly even fine tune.   I can’t wait to tell you more about my experiences and the awesome locations we go to.

I’ve also learned recently  that I have a guardian angel, and have actually spoken to him through a spirit box.  I can’t wait to tell you more about that.  And tell you more about Michael.  So until next time.

May your experiences be paranormal!!

Big news!!!

September 17, 2013 in Blog, Kitsie's Blog

Hey gang, it’s Kitsie here. I just wanted to write up a quick blog and tell you all the exciting things that are going on with Oddity Files right now. We finally have a home where you can view us 24/7 on your very own TV. We are proud to announce we are now a part of GetScaredTV which is a free channel on Roku streaming devices that are in over 5 million homes. How exciting is this?? If you don’t have a Roku player they are available at pretty much all electronic departments. I recently have seen them at both WalMart and Sam’s club.

What does this mean for Oddity Files other than finally having a home, it means new episodes will be coming your way soon. Which I figured you would be pretty stoked about. You will need a Roku player and a free subscription to GetScaredTV to watch the new episodes, but we will surely be posting teasers here on the site.

Now that that’s all out of the way, I want to tell you about my last weekend 🙂 Last weekend I went as a fan girl to scarefest in Kentucky and I got to meet some of the people I watch on TV on a pretty regular basis, here ya go, this should say it all 🙂

So needless to say I was pretty stoked 🙂  Well that should about do it for my blog entry today.  I will write again soon and tell you a little more about me like JonClayton and Tony have, I promise.

Much Love,

Kitsie
